It all started with my mom being a dental patient and she having very frequent trips to the dentist. So growing up, I spent a lot of time in the waiting rooms, and from that, I sort of felt that something which I could do for my family, and the amount of issues my mom was having and if I could make it easier for her. So that sort of got me interested in it. Growing up, it was pretty clear I wanted to be a dentist, slowly and steady started working towards it, finally was able to get into the profession. So that's how it started.
Patients can benefit by virtue of replacement of teeth. They're able to chew better, they're able to function better, they're able to look better as well. They’ll be more confident about their smile. A smile is such an important thing in today's life. It's good for professional life as well as for your career advancement. If you have a wonderful smile, if you're confident about it, it really shows in your personality as well.
I think mothers are very special. They always keep their family first, and they're the last ones to get dental care – or any sort of care, for that matter. But I would like to say that even your health is important, and to recognize any sort of small thing which is wrong, to take care of it at an earlier stage would make it so much more easier for you and for your entire family, only if you are in good health. You have to take care of yourself as well.
